Toy Stocks: Doing Fine With or Without Black Friday

As everyone awaits retail sales results for this weekend, two stocks have been hitting highs for the year. Even though both are highly dependent on retail sales both Hasbro (HAS) and Mattel (MAT) seem to be doing just fine without any indication of what Black Friday will bring. Is this perhaps a reflection of the fact that if most people are going to be spending more in general this year then they are most likely going to be spending even more on their children? Probably. At least investors seem to think toy stocks are a place to invest these days.What are some of the hot toys this winter?
